About Us

Our alliance was formed in 1996, by the Director of Family Nursing & Home Care, as a direct response to the awareness that whilst many statutory and voluntary agencies contributed to child accident prevention, activities were largely fragmented and an ineffective use of diminishing resources.  The group continues under the auspices of the charity, Family Nursing & Home Care.

Safety Sam is our larger than life mascot! He visits schools, fetes and events promoting child safety!
