Poisons
Looking around your home it can be hard to see anything that's poisonous. Taking a closer look can be quite surprising.
Things you see every day can be harmful if eaten. What do you think is safe? Dishwasher tablets, bleach, bubble bath, cigarettes?

Only eat something if you are 100% sure you know what it is
You would be amazed at what's lying around your home that is very poisonous.
Younger kids tend to put everything into their mouths to try to eat it- from leaves and berries in the garden to dishwasher tablets, cigarettes and vitamin pills (I prefer chocolate myself!). All of these can be very toxic and mean a stay in hospital.
Keep an eye out around your home if young children are there and you can poison-proof it! Tell an adult to move these things up high or out of sight.
SO, what would you do?
You are having a look in the shed and find an old bottle of coke. Hummmm....you're thirsty.
What you going to do? Drink it Don't drink it

You don't feel well. Infact you feel really snotty and have a bad cough. Mum is in the bath and you want to give her some space. You know where the medicine is.
What do you do? Take it Don't take it
