Cot safety and cot bumpers
12/01/12New US guidelines support the NHS and the Royal College of General Practitioners recommendation of not using cot bumpers. Also dropside cots have just been banned in America after a study looking at 32 deaths since 2000 related to the dropsides.
Be alert and be aware of carbon monoxide poisoning as at this time of year there is usually an increase in fatalities and non-fatal injury caused by exposure to carbon monoxide. |
