Cot safety and cot bumpers

New US guidelines support the NHS and the Royal College of General Practitioners recommendation of not using cot bumpers. Also dropside cots have just been banned in America after a study looking at 32 deaths since 2000 related to the dropsides.

Carbon monoxide alert - 04/01/12

Be alert and be aware of carbon monoxide poisoning as at this time of year there is usually an increase in fatalities and non-fatal injury caused by exposure to carbon monoxide.
There is concern that the current economic crisis has resulted in householders being unable to pay for the usual annual service of their heating and cooking appliances, chimney sweeping etc.
